Silicon valley

Silicon Valley is a state in the United States called California. Which
is known worldwide as the world of technology and creativity. The state
has had a huge impact on the development of the modern technological world.

1937

The beginnings of Silicon Valley go back to the beginning of the 20th century, but it only became really big and important in the second half of that century

1975

The Altair 8800 is an old computer that came out in 1975. It's important because it was one of the first computers that people could use themselves, like the PCs we have today.

1976

Apple Computer Founded: On April 1, 1976, Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne founded Apple Computer, Inc. They introduced the Apple I, which was one of the earliest personal computers. This marked the beginning of Apple's journey and its eventual transformation into one of the world's most influential tech companies.

1977

Apple II Released. Apple Computer, Inc released the Apple II, which was a significant milestone in personal computing. The Apple II was one of the first highly successful mass-produced microcomputer systems and played a important role in the growth of Apple as a company.

1980

Sun Microsystems Founded made by Vinod Khosla, Andy Bechtolsheim, and Scott McNealy. The company played a significant role in the development of computer workstations and the Unix operating system, contributing to the growth of networked computing

1992

2004

The launch of Facebook. Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg, along with his roommates Andrew McCollum, Chris Hughes, and Dustin Moskovitz. Development started in February 2004.The original goal was to create an online network where Harvard students could connect and share information.The network was initially rolled out to Harvard students and was soon expanded to other universities and colleges in the United States.

2005

YouTube was founded by three former PayPal employees: Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim. The idea for YouTube came from the difficulty of sharing videos online, especially from a dinner party they had attended.

2006

The launch of Twitter. Twitter was co-founded by Jack Dorsey, Biz Stone, and Evan Williams in March 2006. The idea for Twitter emerged from Jack Dorsey's interest in a status-updating service and the desire to answer the question, "What are you doing?" The project started as a side project within Odeo, a podcasting company co-founded by Evan Williams.

2007

The iPhone was officially announced by Apple's co-founder and then-CEO, Steve Jobs, on January 9, 2007, during a keynote address at the Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco.The announcement generated significant anticipation, as it marked Apple's foray into the mobile phone market and was touted as a revolutionary device.
